About Roger Hammer

Roger Hammer is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist.  Born in
Omaha, NE, in his early years he played in competitive youth and college
musical groups, teaching himself guitar and bass.  He started writing and
recording in his teens and after moving to Chicago, performed hundreds
of dates with bands across the Midwest.  Currently, based in
Pennsylvania, he makes frequent appearances with the Blues Society of
Central Pennsylvania and the Susquehanna Folk Music Society, as well
as solo and duo performances at clubs, wineries and festivals.   Hammer
has released a dozen self-published song collections at
net and three syndicated CD’s.    Two of his original songs are recorded
on the Blues Society’s benefit CD,
Backyard Blues, as performed at their
May 2019 release party.  Currently he is producing lyric video singles and
collections posted on the
Roger Hammer channel on YouTube.
